§ The current circuit
Otter sends a bot guest into your meeting and, per its own privacy policy, trains its AI "on de-identified audio recordings" from its users. Granola is bot-free but still uploads the recording to AWS for transcription. Wispr Flow says it plainly: "Transcription always happens in the cloud." macOS native dictation is barely useful and not built for client work. The compliance team rejected each one in the last review.
