Refund policy
Dettivo is sold as a one-time lifetime license. We understand it might not be a fit, here’s how refunds work.
14 days, no hoops
Email hello@dettivo.com within 14 days of purchase with your license key or Stripe receipt, and we’ll refund the purchase.
What happens when we refund
- The license is marked refunded in our ledger.
- All device activations under the license are revoked.
- Secure updates and newly started protected actions stop once Dettivo checks the license online.
- If the app is offline, access may continue briefly from its last cached license check.
- Already-created local dictations, meetings, transcripts, exports, and history remain available.
- Stripe processes the refund, allow a few business days for it to appear on your card or bank statement.
Chargebacks
Please email us before opening a payment dispute, a quick email gets the same outcome without the automated revocation. If a dispute is opened, the license is revoked automatically when Stripe notifies us, active device slots are revoked, and Dettivo blocks secure updates and newly started protected actions once the app checks the license online.
What stays reachable
Denied users can still open Settings → Cloud, replace a license key, buy Dettivo, contact support, manage devices, and view or export local history. Protected actions include dictation, meeting recording, dictation import, meeting import before work is created, rerun/retranscription, meeting recovery/rerun/polish/analysis, and IPC/REST transcripts.import.
