Activate your Dettivo license
In onboarding or in Settings › License + Updates, paste the key emailed at purchase and click Save + Validate. Dettivo stores it in Keychain and counts the Mac toward your three active devices.
Who this is for
New customers activating their first Mac, or anyone re-activating after a wipe or migration. Need a key resent? Use /recover.

Paste your key
Use Save + Validate to confirm with the licensing server. Save alone stores without checking — useful when offline.

The status row flips to Configured + a device ID. Copy the device ID if you need to file a support ticket.
What the license unlocks
Dettivo runs without a license — onboarding just stops at the activation step. With a valid license, dictation, meetings, automations, and the developer surface all open up, and Sparkle is authorized to fetch signed updates.
The license JWT is what signs every update artifact request. Without an active license, Sparkle still installs your current build, but the auto-updater rejects new fetches.
