§ History
History + retention
Every dictation and every meeting is stored locally with raw + polished transcript, metadata, and (toggleable) audio. Full-text search across both. Per-item delete, retention windows, and a hard delete-all.
Who this is for
Users who treat their dictation history as a personal corpus, anyone needing to re-transcribe a recording with a different model, and anyone managing retention for compliance reasons.
What History can do
Search + filter
Full-text across both dictation and meeting transcripts. Filter by mode, source app, language, or STT provider.
Replay audio
When the audio retention toggle is on, History shows an inline player.
Re-run transcription
Pick a different STT model or provider and re-transcribe the stored audio. Raw + final updated.
Export meetings
Markdown, plain text, JSON, SRT, VTT. Include or exclude speaker labels for SRT / VTT.
Copy raw + final
Two separate actions. Different clipboard outputs.
Import audio
Dictation files or external meeting recordings added to the right local workflow.
