Translation before insertion
In Settings › General, toggle Translate Output and pick a target language. Enhanced runs translation as the last step before insertion — the focused app receives the translated text, not a draft.
Who this is for
Users dictating to colleagues in another language, writers drafting in a non-native language, anyone with bilingual workflows that need clean output, not a translation memory.
Where translation runs in the pipeline
Translation is part of Enhanced mode only — Raw and Polish do not translate. Dettivo runs STT first (in the source language), then Polish (in the source language), then the model rewrite, then translation, then insertion.
The final inserted text is the translated output. Raw and source-language polished outputs are kept in History so you can compare or re-export.

- Translate output
- Master toggle. Off by default.
- Translation output language
- Target language. Per-default. Per-language profiles can override.
- Per-language profile override
- Edit a profile to translate that language specifically.
