How to record a Microsoft Teams meeting with Dettivo

Switch the Dettivo menu bar to Meeting mode. Pick Microsoft Teams from the per-app capture target list (or keep Capture All Apps on). Click Start Meeting. No Teams bot guest.

Who this is for

Teams users on Mac — particularly contractors, consultants, and external collaborators who cannot rely on the org's Teams transcription policies.

Set up

    Grant permissions

    Microphone + Screen & System Audio Recording.

    Settings › Permissions

  2. 02

    Open Teams

    Either the desktop app or the browser tab.

  3. 03

    Switch to Meeting mode

    Menu bar → Session Type → Meeting.

  4. 04

    Pick Teams as the capture target

    Either the Teams desktop app or your browser running Teams Web.

  5. 05

    Start Meeting

    Live transcript streams. Stop when the meeting ends.
