How to record a Microsoft Teams meeting with Dettivo

Switch the Dettivo menu bar to Meeting mode. Pick Microsoft Teams from the per-app capture target list (or keep Capture All Apps on). Click Start Meeting. No Teams bot guest.

Who this is for

Teams users on Mac, particularly contractors, consultants, and external collaborators who cannot rely on the org's Teams transcription policies.

Set up

  1. 01

    Grant permissions

    Microphone + Screen & System Audio Recording.

    Settings › Permissions

  2. 02

    Open Teams

    Either the desktop app or the browser tab.

  3. 03

    Switch to Meeting mode

    Menu bar → Session Type → Meeting.

  4. 04

    Pick Teams as the capture target

    Either the Teams desktop app or your browser running Teams Web.

  5. 05

    Start Meeting

    Live transcript streams. Stop when the meeting ends.
