Obsidian voice notes with Dettivo
Point Dettivo Quick Note at your Obsidian vault folder. Pick a profile — Standalone, Inbox, or Daily — and press the Capture Note hotkey anywhere on your Mac. The note lands directly in your vault as markdown.
Who this is for
Obsidian users with a personal knowledge management practice who want to add to the vault by voice instead of opening Obsidian first.

Two profiles worth setting up
Inbox append is great for triage — you accumulate quick thoughts in Inbox/, then process them weekly. Daily append works well for journaling — every dictation lands in today's daily note under your chosen heading.
