Codex CLI + Dettivo MCP

Run `dettivo mcp config --host codex --write`. Dettivo writes the Codex MCP stanza to `$CODEX_HOME/config.toml` or `~/.codex/config.toml`, then Codex can search your local transcripts, drive dictation, and insert text.

Set up

  1. 01

    Install the CLI

    `dettivo install-helper --link`.

    Drop the Codex MCP config

    `dettivo mcp config --host codex --write`. This updates `$CODEX_HOME/config.toml`, falling back to `~/.codex/config.toml`.

    Restart your Codex session

    New MCP servers picked up on session start.

    Try it

    Ask Codex: "Search my Dettivo meetings for the budget conversation."
