§ Replacements
Replacement rules
Deterministic source → target mappings applied during Polish. "Quote unquote" → empty. "Dot com" → ".com". Imported via `heard => wanted` lines, `heard -> wanted` lines, TSV, or CSV. Priority controls the order.
Who this is for
Users tuning Polish to handle their own speech patterns — verbal fillers, ordinal numbers, project names with non-obvious capitalization.
Add a replacement rule
- 01
Open Settings › Dictionary
Switch to the Replacements tab.
Settings › Dictionary › Replacements
- 02
Click Add Replacement
Type the spoken source on the left, the written target on the right.
- 03

Candidate review queue
Dettivo watches for patterns — words you frequently retype after dictation, terms the STT consistently mishears. It surfaces these in a review queue in Settings › Dictionary. Promote each one to a replacement, promote to a dictionary term, or ignore. Nothing changes without your click.
