How to record a Zoom meeting with Dettivo
Open the Dettivo menu bar, switch to Meeting mode, optionally pick Zoom as the per-app capture target, and click Start Meeting. Dettivo records system audio + your microphone locally. No bot joins.

Anyone running Zoom calls on Mac who needs transcripts, summaries, or action items but does not want a third-party guest in the meeting.
Set up

Grant permissions
Microphone + Screen & System Audio Recording. Optional: Calendar for upcoming-meeting prompts.
Settings › Permissions

Open the menu bar and switch to Meeting mode
Session Type → Meeting.

Pick capture target (optional)
Choose Zoom from the per-running-app capture list, or keep Capture All Apps on.

Acknowledge the disclosure dialog
First meeting on this Mac prompts the disclosure acknowledgment. Inform participants where required by your jurisdiction.

Start Meeting
Recording begins; live transcript streams into the workspace.

Stop Meeting
Final transcript and diarization run. Analysis runs if auto-run is on.
