How to record a Google Meet with Dettivo

Open the Dettivo menu bar, switch to Meeting mode, optionally pick Chrome (or Arc, Safari, Firefox) as the per-app capture target, and click Start Meeting. System audio captures the Meet tab; your microphone is recorded in parallel.

Anyone running Google Meet calls on Mac who needs transcripts without inviting a third-party bot.

Set up

    Grant permissions

    Microphone + Screen & System Audio Recording.

    Settings › Permissions

  2. 02

    Open Meet in your browser

    Have the meeting tab visible before starting capture.

    Switch to Meeting mode

    Menu bar → Session Type → Meeting.

    Pick browser as capture target

    Per-running-app list shows your active browser.

  5. 05

    Start Meeting

    Live transcript streams. Stop when the meeting ends.
