Who this is for
Anyone who needs meeting transcripts without inviting a third-party bot, founders, researchers conducting interviews, lawyers, therapists, journalists. Anyone whose meetings happen on Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, or a phone call running through their Mac.
No bot joins the call
Dettivo captures audio locally. It taps system audio (other participants) and your microphone (you), records them in parallel, and runs speech-to-text on the result. The meeting roster only shows the actual humans. No vendor sees your calls.
The meeting flow
Capture
Press Start Meeting in the menu bar. System audio + mic recorded locally.
Import
Bring in audio recorded on a phone, recorder, or meeting device and process it as a local Meeting.
Live transcript
Streaming segments appear in the workspace while recording.
Final transcript
Stable re-transcription runs after you stop. Speaker labels backfill.
Analysis
AI summary, decisions, action items, blockers, follow-up draft.
Mirror
Optionally write transcript + notes + details to your vault folder.
Recap email
Draft-only by default; Gmail / Microsoft Graph / SMTP send is opt-in.
